NBC Bank sees deposit portfelio doubled

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of July 1, Azerbaijan-based NBC Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 44/527 million, up 28% on a year earlier.

The bank said loan portfolio rose by 30.3% to AZN 35.083 million, deposit portfolio increased doubled to AZN 15.642 million, total equity capital went up by 10% to AZN 16.533 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 13.589 million.

Consumer loans grew 38.5% to AZN 34.866 million.

Revenue rose by 19.4% year-on-year to AZN 4.717 million and expenditures decreased by 4.5% to AZN 2.858 million.

Profit jumped by 93.8% to AZN 1.859 million.

The bank established 1 branch, 1 ATM and 11 POS terminals over the past year.

The number of employees rose by 2.2% to 142 and average staff salary rose by 4.3% to AZN 384.

Established in 1992, Ruzi Bank was renamed as NBCBank in 2002. The bank operates 7 branches, 8 bureaux de change, 5 ATMs and 44 POS-terminals.
