Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of July 1, Azerbaijan-based commercial banksâ€™ assets reached AZN 9 191.87 million, down 10.5 from early this year, said Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to statistics, loans to customers accounted for 66%, investment 7.88%, correspondent accounts 6.01%, cash funds 4.23%, deposits and loans to the financial sector 5.52%, and other assets 10.37% of the total bank assets.

Bank obligations accounted for 79.77% of liabilities.

Deposits made up AZN 3 387.54 million of the obligations, leaving AZN 3 037.50 million to loans and deposits from the financial sector and AZN 907.14 million to other obligations.

The banksâ€™ total capital grew by 9.1% to AZN 1 859.69 million.
