Unibank starts the corporate software licensing programme
Under the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement closed with the company called ULTRA, Unibank has acquired the licences to use the latest versions of the software applications at 300 personal computers. The advantage of this corporate licensing option is that the contract price includes the subscription to updates and patches; this will add to the security of the data network of Unibank while providing for its being up to date and in line with the latest world tendencies. Besides, the licences acquired under the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement are permanent but are paid for in annual instalments over three years. The licensing fee includes the updates (Software Assurance) and transition to new versions of all applications that ULTRA will be organising free of charge. During the term of the agreement, Unibank will be supplied with the package of additional free-of-charge services under the Software Assurance programme that will include the training of specialists at the certified training centres, the technical support to the server products, the right to use the Office on home-based PCs and the subscription to the TechNet Plus. Also, Unibank can install the software products purchased under the agreement on computers that will be bought after the agreement’s signing date.
The Microsoft Enterprise Agreement is the corporate software licensing programme aimed at companies using 250 and more computers. It provides the guaranteed constant technical support as well as the advantages mentioned above. Unibank will be using the Microsoft software as the corporate platform and this is another proof that the workings of Unibank are in line with the world quality standards.
ULTRA is one of the largest companies in Azerbaijan providing complex IT solutions. ULTRA has obtained the three highest partner statuses with Microsoft, namely, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) and Microsoft OEM Partner.
