AtaLeasing to increase leasing portfolio 4.7 times this year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguliyev â€“APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s AtaLeasing Compnay will increase its leasing portfolio by 4.7 times to 6 mln AZN this year, chairman of the companyâ€™s Board of Governors Yusif Muslimov told APA-Economics. He said world economic crisis had a negative impact on the development of AtaLeasing Company and caused 15% reduction of its leasing portfolio.

Muslimov said some enlivening was observed in the leasing market in the second quarter of the year while there was on growth in the leasing portfolio of the company in the first quarter of the year.

Ataleasing Company, a part of Ataholding, was established in 2004. The companyâ€™s leasing portfolio was 4.5 mln AZN to July 1, 2009, total capital â€“ 1,114 mln AZN, nominal capital â€“ one million AZN.
