Azerbaijan Industry Bank and Azercell launch BlackBerry Enterprise Server Credit

Azerbaijan Industry Bank has launched BlackBerry Enterprise Server Credit in partnership with Azercell Telecom’s BlackBerry solution that brings together smartphones, software and services to allow easy wireless access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other business and lifestyle applications.

The bank said BlackBerry Enterprise Server will provide ease of use, access of information and greater connectivity to corporate customers in the new credit product.

The bank offers AZN 2 700 to AZN 50 000 in loan at an annual interest rate of 20% for financing server expenses 100%.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server is targeted specifically for organisations that manage their own email servers. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server software tightly integrates with IBM® Lotus® Domino®, Microsoft® Exchange and Novell® GroupWise® and uses advanced encryption and IT policy controls to enable secure, push-based wireless access to email and other corporate data.

Azercell Telecom, Azerbaijan’s leading mobile operator with 3,5 million customers was established on January 19, 1996.

Established as CI Bank in 1996, Azerbaijan Industry Bank picked its current brand name in 2006.

As of April 1, assets stood at AZN 61.373 million, deposit portfolio at AZN 22.272 million, loan portfolio at AZN 35.134 million, total capital at AZN 17.082 million and authorized capital at AZN 12.8 million.
The bank operates 8 branches, 22 ATMs and 251 POS terminals across the country.
