Azerbaijan to improve leasing law

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Leasing Companies Association is preparing recommendations and proposals on amendments to the Civil and Tax Codes, said Elchin Ahmadov, President of the Association.

â€The recommendations include the regulation of leasing activity and the expansion of some articles in the Civil Code. In addition, we will make proposals on some disparities in the Tax Code,â€ he noted.

According to him, if the recommendations are approved, the changes in the Civil Code shall enter into force at the beginning of 2010, and changes in the Tax Code in 2011.

He did not rule out the likelihood of submitting a new Bill on Leasing to the Government.
