Bank of Azerbaijanâ€™s new deposit product is in line with Deposit Insurance Law

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. Bank of Azerbaijanâ€™s new deposit product branded as Rahat Depozit is in line with the additions and amendments to the Deposit Insurance Law approved by Milli Majlis.
According to the changes made to the law, the Deposit Insurance Fund insures deposits of up to 30 000 manats with an interest rate of no more than 15%, said the bank.

Under the terms of Rahat Depozit, the deposit interest rate is 14%. Also, deposits can draw dividends monthly and can take our a credit line amounting 30, 50 or 70% of the deposit.

The credit line carries a 12% interest rate per annum.
