Azerbaijan sees corporate securities market spiked by 2.6 times

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Transactions on corporate securities market increased by 2.6 times year-on-year to 177 590 402 manats in Azerbaijan during January-May, said the State Committee for Securities.

According to statistics, 177 590 402 manats worth of 1 597 deals were registered duirng January-May against 67 845 902 manats worth of 2 430 deals during the same period last year.

150 916 996 manats worth of 1 567 deals on stocks were concluded during this period, triple as much in value as a year ago.

With respect to corporate bonds, 26 673 406 manats worth of 30 deals were closed, a 49% increase on the same period last year.
