Azerbaijan posts a 4.4% year-on-year rise in GDP for January-May

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Gross domestic product â€“ the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan, grew by 4.4% during January-May to AZN 11.4 billion.

The State Statistical Committee said GDP per capital increased to AZN 1 317.1 ($1 638.2) for this period.
The top body said GDP came 46.9% from industrial production and 30.7% from services.

Net tax on products and imports accounted for 9.3% of GDP.
