Asian Development Bank launches new project in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Mr. Radhakrishna Narasimham, Sr. Project Management Specialist for the Asian Development Bank, will be going on mission to Baku from 22-26 June 2009 to conduct an Inception Mission for a project so-called Enhancing Financial Disclosure Standards in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

The project outcome is improved Quality of accounting standards in line with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and auditing standards in line with International Standards of Auditing (ISA).

The Technical assistance (TA) is estimated to cost $600,000 equivalent. It will be financed on a grant basis by the Investment Climate Facilitation Fund under the Regional Cooperation and Integration Financing Partnership Facility, and administered by ADB.
