CredAgro non-bank financial institution gets flagging portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, Azerbaijan’s non-bank microfinance institution CredAgro posted its portfolio at AZN 40.625 million, down 1% from early this year.
CredAgro said the portfolio mainly went to businesses, consumer loans, and agriculture. The number of customers increased 7.3% to 14 773.
CredAgro, set up in 2000, is a microfinance institution with a strong focus on agricultural and rural lending.
CredAgro lends loans at 25-36% annually.
It operates 13 branches and 8 offices throughout the country.
