Bank Avrasiya achieves a 10-fold rise in loan portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, Azerbaijan-based Bank Avrasiya posted its assets at AZN 46.724 million, down 20.2% from a year ago.

The bank said deposit portfolio decreased by 43.2% to AZN 21.664 million, loan portfolio increased by 10-fold to AZN 25.841 million and consumer lending jumped by 3.7 fold to AZN 5.426 million.

Total capital went up by 4.2% to AZN 20.955 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 20 million.

Revenue increased by 34.2% year-on-year to AZN 1.698 million and expenditure dropped by 21% to AZN 1.146 million. Profit reached AZN 0.552 million compared to a loss of AZN 0.184 million in the same period last year.

Established in November 2007, Bank Avrasiya operates 2 ATMs, 21 POS terminals and 1 bureau of exchange.
