Parabank posts 10% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of May 1, Azerbaijan-based Parabank posted its assets at AZN 72.21 million, up 10.2% from January 1, 2009.

The bank said loan portfolio increased by 7.67% to AZN 45.6 million and consumer loans reached AZN 10.25 million.

During January-April, deposits by individuals grew by 17.3% to AZN 38.4 million and total capital stood at AZN 11.42 million.

Revenue reached AZN 4 million, interest incomes made AZN 3.52 million and non-interest incomes AZN 0.5 million.

Owned by 23 individuals, Parabank has been in operation since 1991.

It operates 15 branches, 9 ATMs and 138 POS terminals across the country.
