Amrahbank achieves 14% growth in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, Azerbaijan-based Amrahbankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 61.442 million, up 14.2% on January 1, 2009.

The bank said loan portfolio rose by 22.5% to AZN 39.552 million, deposit portfolio increased by 1.1% to AZN 31.142 million, total capital grew by 77.6% to AZN 22.552 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 12.821 million.

For January-March, revenue increased by 12% year-on-year to AZN 3.124 million and expenditures increased by 50% to AZN 2.438 million.

The bankâ€™s profit dropped by 41% to AZN 0.686 million.

Owned by 5 individuals, Amrahbank has been in operation since 1993.

The bank operates 22 branches, 12 ATMs and 45 POS terminals.
