The number of ATMs rose 4% and POS terminals by 3.5% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vugar Israfilovâ€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, the number of ATMs reached 1 576 in Azerbaijan, up 4.03% on a year ago.

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan said 43.65 of ATMs are located in regions.

Besides, the number of POS terminals reached 8 410 in Azerbaijan, up 3.52% on a year ago.

Of this, 7 547 are located in Baku.

89.7% of POS terminals are installed in retail trade, catering and service outlets
