Moscow. R. Matlaboglu – APA. The next international economic forum will be held in St. Petersburg on June 4-6. APA correspondent in Moscow reports that Russian Minister for Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina and Aide to the Russian President Arkady Dvorkovich has today held a press conference devoted to this event. According to Elvira Nabiullina, official opening ceremony of the forum will be held on June 5 and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will deliver a keynote speech. Two thousand participants have been invited to the forum and 600 of them have already confirmed their participation. The St Petersburg International Economic Forum will address measures put forward by Russia and the international community to adapt international economic and financial architecture to new realities, including rethinking the ways in which global capital is allocated, the future of IFIs, banking sector reform and the coordination of global efforts to contain and combat the global crisis. In addition to the global perspective, the Forum will focus on the role Russia can play, including government measures to address the issues and the implications for Russia’s economic and financial system. Budget of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was decreased by 4 times as a result of economic crisis.
