NBC Bank sees profit doubled

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, Azerbaijan-based NBC Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 40.425 million, up 29% on a year earlier.

The bank said loan portfolio rose by 43.8% to AZN 34.437 million, deposit portfolio increased by 12% to AZN 4.7 million, total equity capital went up by 35% to AZN 15.561 million and authorized capital grew by 27.3% to AZN 13.589 million.

Consumer loans grew 43.3% to AZN 31.896 million.

Revenue rose by 2.6 times year-on-year to AZN 4.505 million and expenditures increased by 2.7 times to AZN 3.581 million.

Profit jumped by 2.1 times to AZN 0.924 million.

The bank established 2 branches, 2 ATM and 17 POS terminals over the past year.

The number of employees rose to 450.

Established in 1992, Ruzi Bank was renamed as NBCBank in 2002. The bank operates 7 branches, 8 bureaux de change, 5 ATMs and 44 POS-terminals.
