World Bank investment in Azerbaijan rises by 7.5%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The fixed investments in Azerbaijan by the World Bank (WB) was AZN 8 923 200 in January-March, up 7.5 % on the same period last year, said the State Statistical Committee.
The WP investment accounted for 3.5% of fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international organizations.
Azerbaijan joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, the WB has provided $2 billion financial assistance to Azerbaijan.
