Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. In the classification of sources contributing to fixed capital investment, bank loans round out the list, said Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee.
According to the statistics, out of AZN 1 638.9 million fixed investment during the first quarter, Azeri banks contributed only AZN 47 million or 2.9%.
It is impossible now to calculate the share of this amount in total bank loan portfolio because Central Bank of Azerbaijan has not released figures for the first quarter.
According to data for January-February, bank loans accounted for AZN 37.1 million or 3.4% of fixed capital investments. This is 0.6% of total bank loans.
That is to say, only 1/167 of bank loans go to fixed investment in January-February.
