Arif Veliyev: Inflation rate will be 2-3% in Azerbaijan this year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Annual inflation rate is projected to be 2-3% at this yearend, said Arif Veliyev, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee.

According to him, consumer goods and service prices dropped by 0.7% in Azerbaijan duirng March as compared to February. Prices for January-March were 8,3% up on the same period last year, he added.

Annual inflation was 20,8% in Azerbaijan last year.
