IMF: Azerbaijan will see inflation 4% inflation this year

Baku. Vugar Israfilov - APA-Economics. The International Monetary Fund predicts inflation will drop to 4% in Azerbaijan, said an IMF report on global financial stability.
According to the report, Azerbaijan comes 13th in the consumer price index for 27 countries of the CIS, Eastern and Central Europe.
Average annual inflation is expected to be 12.6% in the CIS area in 2009, said the report.
Russia (12.9%) and Serbia (10%) are predicted to the highest inflation in 2009.
Interestingly, inflation will not exceed 5% only in Azerbaijan, Moldova, Armenia and Georgia.
Inflation was 20,8% in Azerbaijan last year. According to IMF projections, inflation will reach 7% in 2010.
