Azerbaijan state budget revenue executed 92% in the first quarter

Baku. Vugar Israfilov â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s state budget revenue t was AZN 2 522 million for January-March 2009, said the countryâ€™s minister of economic development at a government meeting.

According to him, the revenue section of the state budget was executed 92% during the first quarter.

In his words, budget revenue increased by AZN 537.6 million or 27.1% from a year ago.

He said in a quarterly report that the budget expenditure forecast was executed at 97.9% or AZN 2.345 million, up AZN 972 million or 70.8% from a year ago.

The minister said the budget surplus reached AZN 177 million and budget-surplus-GDP ratio was 2.6%.
