AtaLeasing raises share capital

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based AtaLeasing plans to double its fixed capital to AZN 2 million, said Yusif Muslumov, Director of the Company.

He said an additional issue of stocks is expected in the second half of 2009 and will be paid up at the year-end.

According to him, the company will also launch several new products this year.

AtaLeasing, as part of AtaHolding, has been in operation since 2004.

As of January 1, its leasing portfolio stood at AZN 3.510 million, quality capital at AZN 1.266 million and fixed (share) capital at AZN 1 million.
