UniLeasing posts 28% rise in leasing portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, Azerbaijan-based UniLeasing Company posted its leasing portfolio at $42.5 million, up 28% on a year ago.

The company said the cost of leased equipment increased by 15.3% to $62.5 million, brining the total number of leasing contracts to 778.

The funds mostly went to auto leasing, production, trade, transportation, medicine, construction and construction materials related project.

UniLeasing has regional branches in Gandja, Lenkeran, Sheki, Guba and Saatli.

UniLeasing, owned by UniBank, has been in operation since 2004. As of April 1, its fixed capital stood at AZN 1.8 million.
