International Bank of Azerbaijan distributes dividends to shareholders

Has started paying dividends to shareholders for the first quarter of 2009, said the Management Board of the Bank.

Dividends will be credited to the shareholdersâ€™ current card accounts.

As of January 1, the bankâ€™s assets reached AZN 4 369.75 million, loan portfolio AZN 2 925.87 million and profit AZN 85 466.76.

The bank plans to increase assets by 15% to AZN 5 billion and double its profit to AZN 174 million this year.

International Bank of Azerbaijan is owned by the government (50.2%) and private shareholders (49.8%).
