Azerbaijan State Committee for Securities Chairman meets with EBRD experts

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Rufat Aslanly, Chairman of Azerbaijanâ€™s State Committee for Securities, has met with a delegation which traveled to Azerbaijan for capital market training programme for Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) through funding from the EBRD.

The parties discussed the current situation of the local stock market, opportunities for cooperation in the development of securities market infrastructure and preparation of a Training Needs Assessment Report as part of the project etc.

Rufat Aslanly said the project is due to built up the capacity for professional securities market participants institutionalize the market and optimize infrastructure.

The delegation will have meetings at the National Depository Center, brokerage houses and other structures.
