YapıKredi Bank Azerbaijan gets 37% drop in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, YapıKredi Bank Azerbaijan’s assets stood at AZN 112.096 million, up 34.9% on a year ago.

The bank said deposit portfolio fell by 36.5% to AZN 39.694 million, loan portfolio dropped by 13.6% to AZN 18.320 million while total equity capital grew by 2.8 times to AZN 40.017 million and authorized capital jumped by 4.3 times to AZN 27.209 million.

Consumer lending went up by 4.8 times to AZN 3.654million.

Revenue rose by 81% year-on-year to AZN 9.251 million and expenditure more than doubled to AZN 7.925 million.

Profit fell by 17.4% to AZN 1.326 million.

The bank established 3 branches, 3 ATMs and 25 POS terminals across the country.

Owned by Turkey’s YapıKredi Bank (80%) and International Financial Corporation (20%), YapıKredi Bank Azerbaijan has been in operation since 2000.
The bank operates 4 branches, 13 ATMs and 62 POS terminals.
