Portfolio investment into Azerbaijan from abroad reached $177.3 million.
The central bank said the country’s portfolio investment balance generated a $373.4 million surplus, that is, portfolio investment outflow exceeded inflow by 3.1 times.
The portfolio investment surplus was $26 million in early 2008.
