AtaSigorta gets 22% drop in premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based AtaSigorta Insurance Company earned AZN 673 000 during January-March, a 22% decrease on the same period last year.
The company said payment for insurance claims declined by 2.5% to AZN 117 000.
Revenue was AZN 1.046 million and expenditure reached AZN 838 000.
The company’s gross profit was AZ 208 000, an increase of AZN 69 800 on the prediction.
AtaSigorta, part of AtaHolding, has been in operation since 2004.
As of April 1, its authorized capital was AZN 2 million.
