Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in his latest video address, stressed the need for Ukraine to become a member of the European Union, APA reports.
Talking about the speech he delivered before the European Parliament, the leader said the event marked a "new stage" in relations between Kyiv and Brussels "when Ukraine is no longer a guest or partner from outside the EU ... when Ukraine becomes a full part of the European Union."
In his remarks on Thursday, Zelensky said his country will become a member state, arguing that the status would give Kyiv "a way home."
