Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday discussed with Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Didier Burkhalter future cooperation and situation in Donbas, the press service of the head of state said, APA reports citing Interfax.
"During the meeting, the two also noted the intention of both sides to further deepen bilateral cooperation, the Swiss foreign minister confirmed that his country will introduce the visa free regime for Ukrainian citizens together with the EU from June 11," the report reads.
Burkhalter and Poroshenko also discussed the ways to speed up the return of frozen assets of former Ukrainian top officials, which are kept in Swiss banks, to Ukraine.
