Baku-APA. The Montenegrin town of Danilovgrad was hit with a second powerful earthquake in two days, as residents were shaken in their beds in the early morning on Wednesday, reported Radio Television Serbia (RTS), APA reports.
According to the Montenegrin Seismological Bureau, the earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale with its epicenter approximately 18 kilometers in depth was almost identical to a quake on Tuesday.
Tremors could also be felt in the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica. No injuries were reported.
The central Montenegrin town of Danilovgrad, with a population of 5,000, is a pilgrimage site of the Ostrog Monastery, which attracts visitors from around the world.
