Baku-APA. A Somali man, rushed to a Rome hospital on Monday on suspicion of having Ebola, was probably suffering from an epileptic attack, APA reports quoting Xnhua.

According to ANSA news agency, the young man fainted while queuing to renew his asylum permit in a police immigration office.

The Somali national was immediately taken to Umberto I, one of the Italian referential hospitals for infectious diseases.

"He was bleeding from the nose and his physical conditions worsened in a few minutes," a police official was quoted as saying by ANSA.

Medical analyses later revealed that the man probably had an epileptic attack.

Last month, another suspected Ebola case in Italy turned out to be a false alarm.

A Nigerian woman was hospitalized in the city of Ancona with suspected symptoms of Ebola, but health authorities later said she had malaria.
