Three more bodies have been recovered from under the rubble of a destroyed section of a residential building in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, bringing the death toll from the Russian attack to 30, Ukrainska Pravda reports.
On the night of 1-2 July, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined strike on Ukraine using attack UAVs as well as air-, land- and sea-launched missiles of various types. Ukraine's air defences downed 524 of the 570 aerial assets launched, although 25 ballistic missiles and 12 attack drones reached their targets.
Kyiv was the primary target of the attack. As of midday on 2 July, 27 people had been killed and nearly 90 injured.
