A new large-scale military aid package for Ukraine, which continues to come under Russian attacks, is expected to be announced at NATO's upcoming Ankara summit, Der Spiegel reports.
Representatives of the alliance's 32 member states reached an agreement on the matter during negotiations on the summit's final declaration.
Under the agreement, Ukraine is expected to receive at least €70 billion in military assistance annually in 2026 and 2027. As a result, the total volume of aid over the two-year period will reach €140 billion.
According to the report, the funds will be used for the supply of military equipment, military assistance to Ukraine, and the training of personnel.
