Baku-APA. The German Health Ministry said Monday that Germany is well prepared for preventing possible spread of Ebola virus in the country, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

Germany's treatment centers have highly-specialized medical staff as well as the ability to isolate patients and treat them taking into account all safety precautions, a Health Ministry spokesman said.

The spokesman added that there were no findings of new Ebola cases in Germany, according to the Robert Koch Institute, an organization responsible for disease control and prevention, and Berlin's most prominent hospital and medical school Charite.

Germany has admitted three infected patients from abroad for treatment so far. One patient in Hamburg has recovered, while two others in Frankfurt and Leipzig are being treated.

Germany is readying itself for any spread of Ebola from West Africa to the country. Currently, Germany is able to take up to 50 patients for treatment, according to a government statement issued Monday.

In addition, the international airports in German cities such as Frankfurt, Duesseldorf, Munich and Hamburg have specialist zones where planes could be diverted with suspected cases of the disease.
