Bulent Arinc said instead of throwing gas bombs, it would be right to speak to the people and persuade them.
"There are people who have been injured in these protests and there are people who have sensitive approach to the protection of environment. I want to say that I am worried about them. Unfortunately, unpleasant incidents happened as several provocateurs joined them and changed the direction of the protest," he said.
Bulent Arinc refuted the reports that his son had shares in the trade center planned to be built in the place of the park.
"This is nothing but a slander. I have got a son, he works at a company. Our salaries are our only income. We are proud of it," he said.
