“I hope that World Health Organization (WHO) will announce the end of the pandemic soon,” said Georgian Health Minister Zurab Azarashvili, APA reports.
“I hope that WHO will announce the end of the pandemic soon, as it announced its beginning a few years ago,” the minister stressed.
According to the minister, the epidemiological situation in Georgia developed, coronavirus cases are quite low, the ratio of placement of infected people in hospitals significantly decreased.
The Health minister added that currently, the only restriction regarding the coronavirus in Georgia is the indoor mask requirement, and steps in the other countries are observed for lifting this rule. The minister noted that lifting this requirement is not considered yet.
