White House communications coordinator John Kirby confirmed on Friday that the Biden administration will be providing Ukraine with the next security assistance package soon, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The latest aid will also include more air defense capabilities, Kirby told reporters.
The remarks come after a report from earlier this week claimed the United States might announce the delivery of the much-needed Patriot anti-air missile launchers to Ukraine.
The anti-missile systems would boost Ukraine's defenses against Russia's strikes, such as the ones that took place earlier today, damaging Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
