Serbia has the strongest army in its history and will not allow anyone to repeat the NATO aggression of 1999, said Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during a press conference summarizing the year, APA reports.
"We have experienced specialists to ensure that 1999 never happens again. Anyone considering an attack on Serbia should think twice about it. Our army is stronger than ever," the Serbian leader emphasized.
Vučić also noted that Belgrade recently signed "billion-dollar contracts" for the Serbian army. He announced that the country is acquiring everything necessary to protect its airspace and will build its own multi-layered air defense system over the next three years. "In terms of air defense, Serbia will become one of the best-equipped countries in Europe," the president declared.
