The United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution on human rights in Crimean Peninsula, APA reports citing TASS.
82 countries voted in favor of the resolution, 80 abstained and 13 were against, including China.
The resolution called on Russia to "take all necessary measures" to end "all violations and abuses" against the citizens of Crimea. The UN also urged Moscow to repeal the laws it introduced "allowing forced eviction and confiscation of private property, including land, in Crimea in violation of international law."
