Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his nightly video address announced a new initiative to help strengthen Kyiv's ties with the Baltic states and its Eastern European allies, APA reports citing Tele Trader.
He said the new diplomatic format, titled the Kyiv Initiative was founded on Monday and that the Baltic states, Poland, Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia are already taking part in the work until other countries gradually join in.
The leader went on to describe the format as a "very promising line of our work in the Euro-Atlantic direction."
