Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko has said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the United States on September 23 to participate in the UN General Assembly, APA reports citing Unian.
"We have an invitation, I recall, a written invitation to visit the United States. You know we are going to the United States on September 23, i.e. this month," Prystaiko said at a joint press conference with Moldovan Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu in Kyiv.
According to Prystaiko, a specific date is being worked out for Zelensky's meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump and representatives of the U.S. government.
"In the near future you will learn about some specific dates that will be announced soon," the minister said.
