Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree establishing a new special command within the Armed Forces, APA reports.
In a video address published on his Telegram channel, Zelenskyy said the new command will focus on carrying out long-range strikes against Russia's military potential and will consolidate all available resources for this purpose.
Zelenskyy also announced reforms within Ukraine's Assault Forces. He said measures will be taken to address personnel-related issues and that changes will also be introduced at the command level.
The President also announced the creation of the Joint Rapid Response Forces. According to him, it will become a new branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The new structure is intended to strengthen rapid battlefield response by integrating assault forces with unmanned systems, artillery, and other combat capabilities.
