"European Union integration remains a priority of Georgia's foreign policy," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
"Everything is clear regarding our foreign policy today. Our foreign policy priorities are precisely defined at the constitutional level. Our goal is integration into the European Union, and of course, everything will be done for this."
The Prime Minister emphasized that the only issue that cannot be compromised is the country's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and that all other matters are open for discussion:
"The only thing that cannot be compromised is our sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. Everything else, of course, is up for discussion. We have red lines, but at the same time, we are ready to do everything necessary for Georgia to eventually join the European Union. This is also the position of the newly elected president, Mr. Mikheil Kavelaishvili. Everything will be done so that we finally join the European Union. We believe that Georgia’s membership in the EU by 2030 is entirely realistic."
