No one dares to punish the Georgian people, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, said while commenting on the calls of the European Union (EU) to suspend Georgia's candidate status, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
"They are talking about the suspension of the candidate status, they themselves have been talking for a long time that the candidate status was given not to the government, but to the people of Georgia. At such a time, it would be very ridiculous if someone would receive the status of a candidate from the people of Georgia," said the Prime Minister.
