The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has commented on the discussions regarding Georgia at the PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe), APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
The head of government stated that the decision of PACE is not of interest to the Georgian authorities.
"It is not of interest to us, as we have informed that we have suspended our activities in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Now, practically, they have nothing to decide. Our activities in PACE have been suspended," Kobakhidze stated.
Note that on April 10, a debate in PACE regarding Georgia will be held. The discussions will focus on the situation following the resolution adopted on January 29 regarding the mandates of the Georgian delegation.
Recall that on the day the resolution was adopted - January 29, the Georgian delegation announced that it had suspended its activities in PACE.
