U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the creation of its first-ever multinational strike drone force, Task Force Falcon Strike. This was reported in a statement by the command, APA reports.
The statement stated that the new unit will employ single-target unmanned aerial combat systems operating in the air, on the water, and underwater. It will include American military personnel as well as representatives from US partner countries in the Middle East.
CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper stated that the new force will build on the Scorpion Strike unit, established nine months ago—the first dedicated attack drone squadron in the Middle East. He stated that the United States has already begun consultations with regional partners, and as they join, the new force's capabilities will expand, forming a unified multinational deterrent in the region.
