The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Tuesday at the press conference in Brussels that the alliance will continue to support Ukraine and send more weapons to the country, APA reports citing Teletrader.

"The Allies are committed to providing further support to Ukraine, including (deliveries) of anti-tank weapons, air defense systems, and other equipment," Stoltenberg said. Furthermore, he added that the alliance expects Russia will try to take control in the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine in the following weeks.

The secretary commented on the alleged "war crimes" in Bucha describing it as "unbearable brutality Europe has not witnessed in decades." He said that NATO supports investigations by the United Nations and the International Criminal Court into the case. According to Stoltenberg, foreign ministers will meet on April 6 and April 7 to discuss further steps in handling the Ukrainian conflict.
