Moldovan President Maia Sandu has commented on a Russian attack on Ukrainian oblasts during which drones entered Moldovan airspace several times, Maia Sandu said on X, European Pravda reports.
Sandu said that on the morning of 24 September, four Russian drones violated Moldova's airspace, and that "at least one exploded in the north".
"Russia's war endangers all of Europe. We condemn this war and stand with Ukraine."
Russia carried out another large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory on the night of 23-24 September. Russia struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles: two people are known to have been killed and eight people have been injured.
On the night of 23-24 September, fighter jets were scrambled in Romania due to drone activity near the Ukrainian-Romanian border. It was reported later that a drone had crashed in Suceava County, Romania, prompting local authorities to suspend classes at schools in four settlements in the area.
Poland also scrambled military aircraft in response to the Russian attack on Ukraine.
